DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

|
| Designing DA (symbols) needs to be consistent in terms of overall size. | ||
| In developing the standard symbol set, the following basic design considerations need to be taken into account: | ||
| 12.2.1 | Pixel size | |
| Symbols are measured using pixels and should be saved in one version for standard 45 px x 45 px square. | ||
| 12.2.2 | Color | |
| Symbols should be designed to be viewable in black and white in the first instance. | ||
| 12.2.3 | Resolution | |
| Resolution is an issue with the first set of symbols, with a great number probably requiring greater improvement in resolution in the future. Generally speaking, resolution should be as high as practicable considering the size of the file needing to be small. | ||
