Socio-political model-Elitism
 
  Monarchism is the oldest social model of humanity and is based on the principles that someone through birthright has power over you as your King/Queen while you are their subjects.

"Those who are born into power and influence are more capable of handling the complexities of a modern society than those who are uneducated and do not understand the real world".
"The elite, the educated and influential are the only ones able to recognize the dangers of mass populism, dictators and other who would seek to take advantage of the general population"

Council, regional leadership with tribunals, or
Executive leadership, democratically elected parliament dominated by two or one party system.

Depending upon apparatus of state- can be strong in classical knowledge and weak in contemporary political/social debate.
Education tending to be limited to basics.

May differ depending upon specific instance, but usually higher than average military/police spending.

Communication
Generally open communication.
Some restricted media, controls over content, mostly through censors/rules.

  Monarchism has always been associated with some major state religion as the assumed power of the monarch is as "god's representative". In ancient cultures this was perfectly aligned when the king was also the high priest.
