The harsh and brutal reality is that the broken system of debt-based capitalism has run its course and no amount of tinkering with money or economic policy will bring economic activity back to sustainable levels, until the first forward thinking governments of the world embrace new and smarter models of capital and economic prosperity. Those economies run by political and industrial classes who refuse to change, will suffer deeper and more sustained suffering through the new global depression.
