Animal Rights Reform

In a perfect world, our better selves as humanity would respect the value of nature for its beauty, as opposed to viewing other living creatures and their habitat through the prism of economic use. Unfortunately, we do not live yet in such a world. Therefore, the only viable, rational, sensible and practical solution to ending the accelerating destruction of natural habitat and species is to introduce a “carrot and stick” economic model whereby endangered species and their habitat are valued and such values recorded as assets against the appropriate country. Thus, as assets, a country may borrow and leverage value against its natural assets, so longer as it maintains and nurtures those assets. In contrast, a country that allows the destruction of its natural assets should see sanctions against its leaders.
